As one of the holy Buddhist sites in North America, Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden in Canada is dedicated to inheriting Chinese Buddhist culture and recruiting disciples from all groups. Master Xingwu’s visit was warmly welcomed by the monks of the temple, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as how to spread the Dharma and benefit sentient beings overseas and the integration of religious cultures.
Under the personal leadership of Master Dayi, Master Xingwu and his disciples paid homage to the Five Directions Manjusri Holy Land. According to the etiquette of paying homage to the Five Directions Platform, they bowed to the top of the Five Directions Platform one by one and rang the prayer bell, praying for peace and prosperity in the country, good weather and good harvests, and world peace.
During the pilgrimage to Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden, Abbot Dayi preached the Dharma in person, taught by words and deeds, and explained in detail the historical origins and deep significance of the founding of Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden and the construction of temples, making this pilgrimage to the Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden not only a physical and mental practice, but also a profound Buddhist and cultural exchange.
This visit not only deepened the ties between Buddhist temples in Canada, but also brought profound joy and nourishment to believers. In the future, Xing Wu Zen Temple and Wutai Shane Buddhist Garden in Canada will continue to promote the Dharma, make good connections, spread the Dharma and benefit sentient beings, and jointly promote the dissemination and development of Buddhist culture and traditional culture in North America.
Namo Amitabha!
