On July 15, 2025, Grand Master Xingwu of Xing Wu Zen Temple in Canada brought his volunteers disciples to the Richmond Food Bank and donated a batch of food supplies, supporting community public welfare with practical actions.
The donated materials include noodles, rice noodles, dry food and other foods, which are aimed at helping local low-income families and people in need to alleviate their living pressures. The head of the Richmond Food Bank expressed his gratitude to Grand Master Xing Wu and pointed out that the supplies will be distributed to those in need in the community as soon as possible.
Grand Master Xing Wu said that by donating food, he is not only practicing the Buddhist spirit of compassion and love, but also hopes to arouse the attention of all sectors of society to the vulnerable groups and jointly create a more loving and warm community environment.
The volunteer disciples who participated in the donation activity also said that being able to help others through practical actions is a valuable spiritual practice experience and will continue to pass on love.
The Xing Wu Zen Temple in Canada has long been committed to social welfare undertakings such as spreading the Dharma, benefiting sentient beings, charity care, and cultural communication. In the future, it will continue to carry forward the concept of “compassion and love, and helping all living beings” and contribute to the community.
