Recently, Master Shi Xing Wu, along with his disciples and volunteers, donated a batch of food supplies to the Richmond Food Bank, demonstrating their care for those in need in the community through practical actions.
At the scene, the monks and volunteers worked together to move the supplies and deliver the love and care in an orderly.
The Master stated that the more society needs care, the more we should act with compassion. Small acts of kindness, though insignificant, can bring warmth; when combined, they can become a ray of light illuminating others.
A single act of kindness can gather into light; a single action can warm a place. May more people join in acts of kindness, so that the world may have more care and more light. For many years, Xing Wu Zen Temple has upheld the principles of compassion and love, helping all sentient beings, fulfilling its vows through action, and bringing benefit and happiness to all beings.

The Richmond Food Bank provides people in need with access to food and services necessary to maintain physical and mental health. Every week, the Richmond Food Bank delivers healthy and nutritionally balanced meals to more than 1,400 people, providing Richmond residents with healthy food choices and access to relevant services to address the causes of poverty.

Introduction to the Xing Wu Zen Temple Society of Canada
The Xing Wu Zen Temple Society of Canada was established on February 10, 2022. It is a charity officially approved by the Canadian federal government.
The main purpose of the society is to promote religious development and help alleviate the poverty of those in need or with low incomes.
