On May 26, 2025, the abbot of Xing Wu Zen Temple in Canada, Master Xing Wu, and members of the organizing committee of the “BC Buddhist Culture Day and International Buddha Bathing Festival” event donated 100 bags of rice, noodles, cereal, canned chicken soup and other loving foods to the Richmond Food Bank in Canada.
This donation activity not only promotes the spirit of Buddhist compassion and saving the world, but also actively practices the positive energy concept of “boundless love and giving back to society”, while also highlighting the traditional virtue of “it is more blessed to give than to receive” in Chinese culture.
The Xing Wu Zen Temple in Canada has always been committed to public welfare and charity, advocating compassion and love, helping all living beings, contributing to society, and practicing the concepts of compassion, joy and giving with practical actions.
Master Xing Wu said that he hopes to help families in need through practical actions, and at the same time hopes to arouse more people’s attention and support for vulnerable groups in society.
Richmond Food Bank provides healthy food to Richmond families in need, no matter their reason.
