Success! Zen Realm & 2025 Suxin Charity Dinner press conference

On the afternoon of September 7, 2025, a press conference for the large-scale original stage play “Zen Realm,” hosted by Xingwu Zen Temple in Canada and co-organized by ReDiant Media, and the 2025 Suxin Charity Dinner was held at the Xingwu Zen Temple Cultural Center in Richmond. The event was attended by a large number of guests, and the atmosphere was warm. The ceremony officially opened with melodious music and a gentle Zen atmosphere.

Venerable Master Shi Xingwu delivered a speech:
“I thank you for the generous support from both old and new friends, the community, and the media. This year marks the fourth consecutive year of the “Zen Realm” and Suxin Charity Dinner. This is not only a feast of art, but also a cultural experience. Through stage performances, we share and promote Zen and martial arts culture, presenting the wisdom of Buddhism, Zen philosophy, and the beauty of traditional Chinese culture. The charity dinner also serves to gather the compassion and kindness of everyone, gathering them into a force for building a temple, benefiting society, and giving back to society.”

Steve Kooner, MLA congratulated on the spot and highly praised the long-term contributions of Xingwu Temple and Master Xingwu to public welfare, cultural exchanges and the community.

Secretary General Joyce of Xingwu Zen Temple and Event Planning Director Ziying gave everyone a detailed report on the meticulous arrangements for this year’s Suxin Charity Dinner and the creative ideas and highlights of the stage play. They also announced that “Zen Realm” will be grandly staged at the Richmond River Rock Theatre at 6 pm on October 19th!

Susan Sun, Vice President of Expo Architecture, donated a cheque on the spot to show her support. An anonymous philanthropist donated the cheque on her behalf by Senior Sister Ziying. The Bliss Charitable Foundation also donated 10,000 Canadian dollars on the spot.

May, a gold shop in the town, donated a 24K gold Guanyin statue and a 24K gold Horse of Success statue for the raffle draw.

The press conference also featured spectacular martial arts and dance performances, blending Zen and art to resounding applause.
