On November 18, 2025, Grand Master Shi Xing Wu, along with members of the Xing Wu Zen Temple Society of Canada and Lingyu from ReDiant Media, donated funds to the Richmond Hospital Foundation with pure intentions. The simple yet solemn donation ceremony transformed the temple’s prayers for the health and well-being of all beings into tangible support.

During the ceremony, Grand Master Shi Xing Wu, on behalf of the Xing Wu Zen Temple Charity Organization, expressed the intention to donate to the Richmond Hospital Foundation. This donation comes from charitable contributions raised this year for the large-scale original stage play “Zen Realm” and the Suxin Charity Gala. Upholding the original intention of “gathering the good intentions of the masses to create blessings for the community,” Xing Wu Zen Temple is returning this compassionate kindness from the public to the community hospital, supporting local healthcare with compassion and benevolence.

Grand Master Xing Wu stated, “Compassion is not a concept, but an action; good deeds are not for the future, but for the present.” He expressed his hope that this act of kindness would continue year after year, and that more kind-hearted individuals would be inspired to pay attention to community welfare, support the hospital foundation, and jointly serve and give back to society through acts of compassion, spreading goodwill and protecting all sentient beings.

For many years, Xing Wu Zen Temple has been guided by the principles of spreading Dharma and practicing charity, protecting the local community. From cultural activities to public welfare and charity, it has always upheld the motto “Compassionate vows and actions for the benefit of all sentient beings.” May every act of kindness be like a lamp illuminating the heart, bringing together us to a state of purity and harmony. May this merit be dedicated to all directions, wishing for social peace and the well-being of all beings.
