July 1, 2026, marks Canada’s 159th National Day. Venerable Shi Xing Wu of Xing Wu Zen Temple Society led a group of volunteers to the Richmond Food Bank to donate a batch of food supplies. Xing Wu Zen Temple Society actions demonstrated its care for the community and its commitment to helping those in need, adding warmth and hope to the holiday season.
Master Xing Wu stated that this charitable act promotes compassion and benefiting all beings. On this meaningful day of Canada Day, it encourages more people to pay attention to their communities, care for vulnerable groups, and put compassion and kindness into practice in daily life. Serving society and dedicating oneself to charity transcends race, religion, and culture; both are important forces in building harmonious communities.
Xing Wu Zen Temple has long supported food banks and continuously carried out various community public welfare activities. Over the years, it has regularly donated food and supplies to care for families in need and actively fulfill its responsibility to give back to society and serve the public.
Charity is not about a single moment, but about perseverance; good deeds are not about size, but about continuous practice. May these acts of love continue to spread, bringing warmth and hope to more people, and together building a more loving, inclusive, and caring community.
Xing Wu Zen Temple sincerely wishes for national prosperity, social harmony, and the well-being of all. May compassion and kindness forever reside in the world, and may love and goodwill continue to flourish.
❤️Let’s spread love and kindness together ❤️
The power of public welfare requires everyone’s participation. We sincerely invite more kind-hearted people to join hands with Xing Wu Zen Temple to spread love and kindness to more people.
